Our staff team have a wide range of experiences and qualifications, ranging from SVQ level 2,3, and 4 to NC and HNC to BA childhood studies. We have staff of all ages with different backgrounds.

Recruitment

Our staff team are subject to rigorous recruitment processes. Every member of staff must have two references, a medical check proof of identity and proof of qualifications and be subject to an enhanced disclosure. Staff are also required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) This is a new regulatory body which means staff are more closely regulated for example anyone who is subject to disciplinary procedures must be reported as this would not be shown on a disclosure and could result in the employee being taken off the register and thus unable to be employed as employers would be committing an offence employing anyone not registered. Staff are also required to further their own professional development through various training courses.

Testimonials

“Our daughter Ellie loves being outside in the garden at hyde’n’Seek where she can play with her friends. She also likes the visits to Queens Park Glasshouse where she can say “hello” to the tortoises. Ellie enjoys the nursery and comes home in a good mood every night.”
